Day four
Sheridan, Wyoming to Chico Hot Springs, Pray, Montana
Well, here goes a little something…we didn’t want to get out
of bed this morning…..so we ordered room service since Jess had never had room
service before. It was delightful (said in my snootiest accent).
Once we
finally got on the road we decided to stop at a depressing national monument,
hooray Little Bighorn National Monument. I was fortunate enough to have just
finished a Native American Culture class at TWU for a maymester, it was
intense. So, I am somewhat of an expert
on the events that surrounded the Little Bighorn and Lt. Col. George Armstrong
Custer. He was a classy dude (dripping with sarcasm…….a lot). I’m not going into
details other than bad stuff happened and people died. It was super pretty
though, just saying.
After we left the battle ground we stopped at a restaurant
and gift shop that was run by the Crow Indian nation. The food was freaking
awesome!!!!!1!1!!1!111!1!!!!one!!!!!! For serious and junk. We left the restaurant
and entered a food coma while we were driving to Chico Hot Springs. Luckily for
us we were behind a big motor coach when it had a tire go POP! Good thing I was
pretty far behind it so we didn’t catch any shrapnel but we sure did hear it
explode. We stopped and helped the lovely couple as much as we could. We exited
our food coma and got on our way. We finally got to Chico around 17:00, for
those of you who don’t know real time that’s 5:00pm. We went swimming in the
hot spring fed pool and ate delicious food. Now we’re sitting in the lobby
typing this up while Jess is playing ukulele serenading the customers…..I think
I’ll go get my hat so we can make some money. Hopefully we’ll have internet
again soon. Until later, Via con queso!!!

Right now we're watching a national geographic of yellowstone to pretend that we're cool enough to spend an entire summer there like you guys. Thanks for sharing your adventures online!
Megan, ya'll are TOTALLY cool enough. It's been fun and awe striking(if that makes scents) at the same time.
Yeah, but having a one year old makes it challenging. But, hey, after watching that we watched another thing about Lewis and Clark, and how Sacajawea did all that with HER kid... so she pretty much put me to shame. "Yeah, I just helped some Americans explore unknown territory in extreme weather conditions with my kid on my back. What's your excuse?" Yeah, yeah... make it look easy :-P
You just made Mike and me chuckle with your comment. Brilliant!!!
